Mohamed Salah has taken to Instagram to voice his support for the 57357 Children Cancer Hospital in Egypt after paying a special visit to some of its patients.

The midfielder posted a picture of himself handing a Chelsea shirt over to one of the hospital’s young patients on Monday afternoon.

Salah shared the photo on his account and wrote: “I had an amazing time today visiting 57357 Children Cancer Hospital in Egypt.

“What an impressive project! Together we can help those kids have a promising future :)”

The 22-year-old Egypt international has struggled to secure a regular spot in Jose Mourinho’s first team this season.

Salah, who joined the Stamford Bridge club from Basel back in January, is yet to start a Premier League game this term and has only made two appearances from the bench in the top flight.
