The Tottenham midfielder admits he needs to get some practice in...
Christian Eriksen was happy to poke fun at himself after helping to fire Tottenham to victory at Hull City on Sunday.
Jake Livermore gave Hull the lead in the eighth minute before Spurs fought back thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Eriksen in the second half after Gaston Ramirez was shown a straight red card for kicking out at Jan Vertonghen.
And the Denmark international acknowledged that his goal celebration left a lot to be desired.
Eriksen posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “Great win yesterday, important 3 point! #coys #golazo #dontknowhowtocelebrate #23”
Tottenham’s victory came after Liverpool slumped to a 3-1 defeat by Crystal Palace, while Arsenal were beaten 2-1 at home by Manchester United on Saturday.
“Normally they are [in] the top four teams, so it’s nice to see them lose,” Eriksen told Sky Sports.
“But right now I think there is a different top four teams. It changes a lot and a few wins and you’re up there again.”
Sunday’s win hoisted Spurs up to 10th place in the Premier League table on 17 points.
