Jose Enrique has plenty of time on his hands as the Liverpool defender looks to make the most of the international break.

The left-back isn’t part of Vicente del Bosque’s squad that will face Belarus and Germany in the coming week.

And Reds full-back Enrique decided to visit Knowsley Safari on Merseyside, posting a hair-raising video of a pride of lions feasting.

“Thanks a lot to @KnowsleySafari for make me have this amazing experience and let me be that close to the lions. One of the best experience ever,” Enrique wrote on Instagram.

The 28-year-old has endured a mixed start to the season, making his return from a knee injury before suffering a setback.

On Wednesday morning, Enrique left little to the imagination when he posted a morning snap with his girlfriend Amy Jaine.
