Alberto Moreno took to social media on Thursday night to wish his girlfriend a happy 23rd birthday.

The Liverpool left-back has enjoyed a regular spell in Brendan Rodgers’ first-team after joining the Reds from Sevilla over the summer.

The 22-year-old shared the photo above of him with partner, LiLia Granadilla, on Instagram and wrote: “I want to thank the most important person I have @liliagranadilla.”

He then added on Twitter: “I wanted to congratulate the person I love most on turning 23, @LiLigranadilla enjoy your day preciosa.”

Moreno has scored one goal and made one assist so far for Rodgers’ men this season.

He has been a regular fixture at left-back, starting nine of the Reds’ 11 Premier League games this term.

Moreno helped Sevilla win the Europa League last season before his summer switch to Merseyside in a £12m deal.
