Oscar has taken to Instagram to reveal to Chelsea fans that his heart will pump blue until 2019 after signing a new contract.

The Brazil international put pen to paper on a new five-year deal on Monday after helping the Premier League leaders win 2-1 at Liverpool on Saturday.

Oscar, 23, has become an integral part of Jose Mourinho’s side over the past 16 months, scoring four goal in 15 games in all competitions this season.

Oscar wrote on Instagram: “Until 2019 my heart will keep on pumping BLUE blood! #ComeOnChelsea #ComeOnBlues #CFC #Oscar8”

Speaking to Chelsea’s website, Oscar spoke of his love for the west London side and the Premier League.

“I am so happy because I love playing for Chelsea and living in England,” Oscar told Chelsea’s website.

“I have enjoyed playing here for two years, and now I have five more, so I am very happy.”

Oscar has scored 15 goals in 75 Premier League appearances following his move to west London in 2012.
