Wayne Rooney has taken to Instagram to deliver a Manchester United rallying cry ahead of Saturday’s clash with Hull City at Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal’s side welcome the Tigers to the Theatre of Dreams looking to secure another victory after their 2-1 in over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium last weekend.

Rooney posted the picture above from Friday’s training session at Carrington and wrote: “Last training session done before we face Hull tomorrow.

“Looking forward to being back at Old Trafford and hopefully another 3 points!”

Van Gaal confirmed on Friday morning that Luke Shaw is set to be sidelined “for a few weeks” with an ankle ligament injury sustained at The Emirates last Saturday.

The Dutchman, however, also revealed that Marcos Rojo and Radamel Falcao could return to his matchday squad.

United head into Saturday’s game in fourth place in the Premier League table.
