Photos: Chelsea’s Andre Schurrle vows to ‘keep working’

The Chelsea midfielder is determined to win back a regular starting spot

Andre Schurrle has taken to Instagram to declare his intention to win back a Chelsea starting spot.

The Germany international played the final 12 minutes as the Blues ran out 5-0 winners over Schalke in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Schurrle has struggled to hold down a regular spot in Jose Mourinho’s team this season, with the 24-year-old having been limited to just four Premier League starts.

However, the World Cup winner is now focused on winning back a regular place in the west London club’s team.

He posted the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “Good to be back on the pitch:)) now keep working and staying healthy:) #comeoooon #behappy.”

The midfielder, who has scored two goals this season, then added with the photo below: “Always being happy:))”
