Emre Can and Jose Enrique may be fringe players at Liverpool, but the pair can’t wait for Tuesday night’s clash against Real Madrid judging by their Instagram accounts.

Can, who moved to Liverpool in a £9.75m deal from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, has found his first-team opportunities limited due to injury this season.

However, the Germany Under-21 international appeared in relaxed mood as the 20-year-old trained with his Liverpool team-mates at the Bernabeu on Monday evening.

Can posted: “Matchday #el #santiago #bernabeu #realmadrid #liverpool #ynwa”

Enrique was a noticeable absentee during the training session at the Bernabeu as the Spanish defender continues to recover from a recent injury setback.

However, the 28-year-old’s appetite is still looking forward to the Champions League clash after he posted a photo of the trophy.

“Champions league game today against Madrid,” Enrique wrote on Instagram.

Where does Jose Enrique need to improve?
