Romelu Lukaku and Tim Howard hailed Everton’s great win after a 3-0 victory over Lille in the Europa League on Thursday.

Veteran midfielder Leon Osman and captain Phil Jagielka put the Toffees 2-0 up after 42 minutes, before Steven Naismith continued his impressive form with his fifth goal of the season after the break.

And Everton striker Lukaku was quick to take to Instagram following their emphatic win, which leaves the Merseyside outfit a point clear at the top of Group H.

“Great win! C’mon everton!” Lukaku wrote.

Meanwhile, Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard stressed the importance of winning, despite playing in Europe’s second tier competition.

Finally, goal-scorer Jagielka praised his Toffees team-mates after their second win of the campaign.
