Brendan Rodgers is guaranteed to get it right at Liverpool, according to club legend Robbie Fowler.

The Northern Irishman is enduring the toughest period of his two-and-a-half year reign as a 2-1 defeat by Chelsea left his Reds side languishing in 11th spot.

Brendan Rodgers is an unbelievable manager and it’s a guarantee that he will get it right

The Liverpool manager has been forced to contend with the departure of key player Luis Suarez, whilst Daniel Sturridge has been hampered by injuries.

And Fowler, who is helping Liverpool’s Under-19 side, is confident that the 41-year-old Reds boss will reverse the club’s ailing fortunes.

Fowler told Four Four Two: “Liverpool’s problem last season was a lack of depth in the squad. So it was always going to be a case of bringing in a lot of new players.

“Brendan Rodgers is an unbelievable manager and it’s a guarantee that he will get it right.

“Liverpool are fighting on four fronts this year with the Premier League, Champions League FA Cup and League Cup, so it is important that squad was much bigger and better than last year.”

Do you agree with Robbie Fowler?
