Demba Ba has ruled out a move away from Besiktas amid reported interest from the Premier League.

The Senegal striker has impressed for the Turkish outfit since swapping west London for Istanbul in the summer, scoring 10 goals in 14 games.

I am really happy here and feel I made the right decision coming to Istanbul

Ba’s impressive form has prompted interest from a host of English clubs, including Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

However, the former Magpies and Hammers forward reiterated that he is focused on helping Besiktas win silverware this season, both domestically and in Europe.

“I want to thank those who made offers but I am not moving to England or another country, my main focus is Besiktas,” Ba is quoted as saying.

“Players get offers and enquiries from time to time but all I am focused on is winning the league, cup and making the Europa League final. That is all I am thinking about.

“I have been blown away by the support of the fans, I am really happy here and feel I made the right decision coming to Istanbul.”

Would Demba Ba improve Tottenham?
