Arsene Wenger revealed that Kieran Gibbs, Nacho Monreal and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have all picked up injuries after Arsenal’s 1-0 win at West Brom on Saturday.

Gibbs was brought on in the first half for Monreal after the Spaniard sustained a knee injury at The Hawthorns.

Wenger also revealed that second-half substitute Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered a knee problem after coming on but did not disclose the seriousness of the injury.

Wenger said: “Gibbs struggled a little bit with an ankle problem and Monreal with a knee problem. Oxlade-Chamberlain also had a knee problem.

“I don’t know [how bad the injuries are]. We have to see how they recover on Monday.

“We have Oxlade-Chamberlain, Monreal and Gibbs who have knocks but I don’t know how bad it is.”

Danny Welbeck’s second-half header handed Wenger’s men victory against the Baggies.
