Alexis Sanchez has claimed that there is little difference in quality between Arsenal and Barcelona.

The Chile international has been the Gunners’ standout performer since joining the north London club from Barca in a £35m deal over the summer.

He has scored nine Premier League goals and made two assists in 13 games this term for Arsene Wenger’s men.

And the 25-year-old forward says that the quality of Arsenal’s players is “impressive”.

“My team-mates have helped me adapt. If my team-mates were not so good, then I would not have done so well. It is that easy,” Sanchez told The Telegraph.

“The quality here is impressive. You only need to take a glance around [a training session] to see that. It is the same level, more or less, as there was at Barcelona.

“We do different things in training, but player for player, it is just about the same.”
