Andy Murray has revealed that Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas is one of his sporting heroes.

The British tennis star engaged in a quick question and answer session with his Twitter followers on Thursday evening and was asked by one user who his favourite sportsmen are.

Murray revealed that Andre Agassi was his tennis idol, and Mohamed Ali was his boxing favourite, before singling out Fabregas as his top footballer.

Murray also admitted that he “loved” watching former American tennis player Agassi in action.

The 27-year-old also laughed off suggestions that he could be set to pair up with Maria Sharapova in the mixed doubles at the Australian Open.
