Christoph Kramer has set his sights on a return to Bayer Leverkusen amid interest from Premier League.

The defensive midfielder has impressed during his loan spell at Borussia Mochengladbach, scoring one goal in 11 Bundesliga appearances.

Kramer, who made one appearance during Germany’s World Cup-winning campaign, has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool in recent weeks.

However, the 23-year-old star is eyeing a return to Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season, adding that he has faith in the club’s ambitious plans.

“At the end of the season, I’ll go back to Bayer. Not because I feel it’s my duty, but because I’m convinced by their plans,” Kramer is quoted as saying.

“Some very big clubs have shown an interest in me but at the moment I’m very happy at Borussia.”

Kramer has scored three goals in 44 Bundesliga appearances for Borussia after moving temporarily to the German club in 2013.
