David Hillier says Arsene Wenger is the right man to manage Arsenal.

The Frenchman has come under increasing pressure in recent weeks after the north London side’s patchy Premier League campaign so far.

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has been linked with Wenger’s position, despite the 65-year-old signing a new three-year deal in the summer.

But former Arsenal striker Hillier reckons the FA Cup winners would struggle under a different manager if the London club decided to end Wenger’s reign.

“He’s the right man for the job at the moment, if they bring someone else in it will be really difficult for the club,” Miller told talkSPORT.

“A new manager might want to put his own stamp on the club and change things which I don’t think the directors and the big people at the club would accept that.

“If anything I think Arsene Wenger will take on a directorship role and have someone underneath him in the future but I can’t see that coming soon and I personally don’t want to see it just yet.”
