Chelsea defender issues rallying cry after PSG draw

Chelsea players have been reacting to Monday's Champions League last-16 draw on social media

Cesar Azpilicueta took to social media on Monday afternoon to reflect on a “thrilling” Champions League draw after Chelsea were paired with Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16.

The Blues will take on the Ligue 1 champions next year looking to book their place in the quarter-finals of Europe’s elite club competition.

Azpilicueta posted the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “A hard but thrilling draw against PSG in UEFA Champions League! I hope The Bridge will be decisive as last season! #CFC.”

Chelsea midfielder Willian also reacted to the draw, writing: “Hey guys, what do you think about our opponent in the UEFA Champions League? #CFC #W22 #UCL”

And captain John Terry was keen to gauge his followers’ reaction to the draw, writing: “What’s your thoughts on today’s Champions League Draw?”

Chelsea will play PSG in the French capital on Tuesday 17 February, with the return game at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday 11 March.
