Jose Mourinho has ruled out Chelsea entering the January transfer market.

The Premier League leaders have been linked with Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s second-choice goalkeeper Petr Cech is attracting reported interest from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool.

However, Mourinho, whose side beat Derby 3-1 on Tuesday to reach the League Cup semi-finals, is adamant that there won’t be any arrivals or departures next month.

“No. We have a short squad but we’ve got good players, some younger, some older, but the squad is very, very good,” Mourinho told talkSPORT.

“Our project is to start and finish the season with the same group of players, so there will be nobody to leave and nobody to come in either.”

Chelsea make the trip to Stoke City in the Premier League on Monday night.
