David Luiz: I made a good choice swapping Chelsea for PSG
David Luiz has no regrets about his decision to quit Chelsea
David Luiz insists he has no regrets about his decision to leave Chelsea for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
The Brazil international joined the Ligue 1 champions in a £50m switch in July, which is a world-record fee for a defender.
But 27-year-old Luiz is happy with his choice, scoring one goal in 16 appearances in all competitions for the Paris outfit.
“I made a good choice coming here,” Luiz was quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror.
“I am happy to play in this team. Of course I smile a lot. I am a happy boy.
“I cannot share all my secrets, but I like to show that I am happy,” he explained. “And as I don’t like my face when it is normal, as a general rule, I make faces.”
Chelsea are top of the Premier League with a three-point lead over defending champions Manchester City.
PSG, meanwhile, train Ligue pace-setters Marseille by a point ahead of their Champions League clash with Barcelona on Wednesday.
