Kolo Toure says that he has been impressed by Martin Odegaard after the youngster trained with Liverpool this week.

Stromsgodset teenager Odegaard has attracted interest from a host of top European clubs in recent months and he visited Melwood as the rumours continue to circulate about his future.

Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Real Madrid are all said to be keeping tabs on the 15-year-old attacking midfielder.

And Liverpool defender Toure says that he was impressed by what he saw of the youngster.

“I met him, he’s a very good player,” Toure told Norwegian media outside Melwood. “It was very good.”

Speaking earlier this week, Jose Mourinho ruled out a Chelsea bid for Odegaard.
