Gary Neville has rubbished talk of a feud with Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.

The Red Devils legend was critical of United’s performance as Van Gaal’s side were unconvincing 2-1 winners against Southampton on Monday night.

However, the Dutchman took offence to Neville’s comments, prompting the 63-year-old to question the former right-back’s credentials as a pundit.

But Neville, who won eight Premier League titles during a decorated career at Old Trafford, insisted he has no issues with the no-nonsense Red Devils boss.

While Neville was disappointed with United’s performance, the Red Devils legend couldn’t hide his excitement ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Old Trafford on Sunday.
