Gary Neville believes the Tottenham Hotspur squad are starting to buy into Mauricio Pochettino’s philosophy.

The north London side suffered a blow in the 15th minute as Belgium international Kevin Mirallas broke the deadlock at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

However, Christian Eriksen levelled just six minutes later before long-suffering Spain striker Roberto Soldado netted a 46th-minute winner.

And Manchester United legend Neville felt Tottenham’s high-intensity game was vital to securing three points on Sunday afternoon.

“Enjoyed Spurs performance yesterday for the first time in a long time. Could see a team ethic and 11 players buying in to their manager,” Neville wrote on Twitter.

“Don’t think Everton played badly in the match but Spurs had a higher intensity to their game.”

Tottenham are seventh in the Premier League table after their sixth win of the season.

Do you think Spurs will finish in top four?
