Man United transfers: ‘Ex-Red Devil cools talk of re-signing Nemanja Vidic’
Keith Gillespie doesn't reckon Manchester United should lure Nemanja Vidic back to Old Trafford
Keith Gillespie doesn’t believe Manchester United should launch a bid to re-sign Nemanja Vidic.
The Serbia international joined Inter Milan in the summer transfer window after calling time on his decorated Red Devils career following five Premier League titles.
However, the 32-year-old has fallen out-of-favour under new manager Roberto Mancini, whilst United are experiencing an injury crisis amongst their defenders.
But former United winger Gillespie believes Louis van Gaal would be forcing the Red Devils to take a step backwards if Vidic sealed a return to Old Trafford.
It was a big mistake letting Vidic leave but it would be an even bigger one to bring him back. You can't unwind the clock.

Vidic told United supporters that his heart would always be at Old Trafford after the centre-half played his final United game last May.
“I have to say that my heart will always be at this club,” Vidic said in May.
“I have spent so many years here. I have been part of this good time at United and worked with so many great people. I will always be here and always watch United.”
