Mathieu Debuchy eager to justify Arsenal transfer
Mathieu Debuchy says he got injured at the worst possible time
Mathieu Debuchy is eager to prove to Arsene Wenger that Arsenal were right to sign the defender from Newcastle United.
The France international has endured an injury-hit start to his Gunners career after the right-back sealed a move £12m switch to The Emirates in August.
There is never a good time to get injured but this was probably the worst time

Debuchy made his return from an ankle injury to help Arsenal win 4-1 at Galatasary last week, making just his ninth appearance for the north London side.
And the Gunners defender Debuchy felt that he got injured at the worst possible time.
“At the time [the injury] was tough. I had just arrived at the club. I wanted to do well to prove the club made the right choice by signing me.
“It was a freak injury. I was not used to getting injured and that’s why I was disappointed, especially so early after I arrived at the club.
“There is never a good time to get injured but this was probably the worst time.”
On his comeback in Turkey, Debuchy added: “I was struggling to breathe at times, but the fitness will come back quickly.”
