Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Chelsea have no new injury concerns ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking at a news conference on Tuesday, the Blues boss revealed that his side have no fresh absentees heading into the midweek London derby.

Chelsea will be without striker Diego Costa due to suspension – but Mourinho is backing his side to cope with the Brazilian’s absence.

“It doesn’t affect us,” said Mourinho. “We trust Loic Remy and Didier Drogba the same way we trust Diego Costa

“This is not our way of work, so forget Diego. We trust the other two and we go with one of the other two.”

Mourinho is looking forward to the clash with Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

“It’s a big game, a London derby, against one of the top teams in the league – we like it. That’s what we have to think about,” he continued.

“They’re a difficult team that we have to play against. We have to think it’s a difficult match and we have to be ready for it.”
