Arsenal thrashed Galatasaray 4-1 but still failed to top their Champions League group on Tuesday night.

Lukas Podolski opened the scoring with a sublime finish in the third minute in Turkey, with Aaron Ramsey adding another shortly after.

The Wales international then scored again after half an hour with a sublime 30-yard volley, before Wesley Sneijder pulled one back for the home side with two minutes to go.

There was still time for Podolski to score in stoppage time as Arsene Wenger’s men bounced back from their 3-2 defeat at Stoke in style.
