Petr Cech talks about Chelsea’s potential and quality
Petr Cech is excited by Chelsea's potential this season
Petr Cech has talked up Chelsea’s potential as the Blues stay on course to win the quadruple this season.
Jose Mourinho’s side cruised into the Capital One Cup semi-finals courtesy of a 3-1 win against 10-man Derby on Tuesday.
The west London outfit are three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League, while the Blues are set to face Paris Saint-Germain for a place in the Champions League last eight.
And Chelsea goalkeeper Cech, who is behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order, is excited by their potential to win silverware this season.
“This team has the potential and the quality to become one of the best teams in Chelsea’s history if it proves it by winning the trophies,” Cech told the Mirror.
“But I keep saying you can only judge teams at the end of the season when you see how much the team achieve.
“In this moment, we have been doing remarkably well but we have no trophy in our hands. So let’s see what’s going to be the case at the end of the season.”
