Joel Campbell took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to post a picture of himself in Arsenal training with Alexis Sanchez after he was once again an unused substitute at the weekend.

The Costa Rica international was left on the bench as Danny Welbeck’s second-half header earned the Gunners a 1-0 victory at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Campbell posted the picture of the duo above on his Twitter account and simply wrote: “#AFC.”

The striker will be hoping for more playing time for Arsene Wenger’s men as the hectic festive fixture schedule approaches.

The 22-year-old forward is yet to make a Premier League start for the north London club and has been limited to just two appearances from the bench.

He has also made just two cameo appearances for the Gunners in the Champions Legue this season.
