Jack Wilshere has paid a humorous tribute to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
The 37-year-old called time on his illustrious 20-year career on Tuesday morning after he enjoyed spells at Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal, Barcelona and New York Red Bulls.
The former France international, who won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000, scored an impressive 360 career goals in 792 games.
And current Arsenal midfielder Wilshere lifted the lid on how to stop the former Gunners striker, using a method which is a rather primitive form of defending.
Wilshere wrote on Instagram: “Some defenders should have used my tactic’s to stop this machine! You know who you are #Legend”
Henry, who is set to join the Sky Sports team, scored 228 goals in 337 appearances of Arsenal, becoming their record goal-scorer.
The Gunners icon played with Wilshere during a brief loan spell at the north London club in 2012.
