Daley Blind is vowing to stay focused as the Manchester United star continues his recovery from injury

Daley Blind is determined to “stay focused” as Manchester United prepare for Monday’s trip to Southampton.

The Red Devils can close the gap to leaders Chelsea to eight points with victory at St Mary’s after the Blues lost their first game of the season at Newcastle on Saturday.

Blind is currently sidelined with an knee injury sustained while on international duty with the Netherlands.

However, the 24-year-old is keen to stay on track in his recovery and posted the picture above on Instagram on Saturday evening, writing: “#stayfocused #DB17”

Blind has scored one goal in eight Premier League games for United so far this season.

He joined the Old Trafford club from Ajax over the summer.
