Radamel Falcao took to Instagram to hail a “great” victory after helping Manchester United beat Liverpool 3-0 on Sunday.

Falcao came on as a second-half substitute as Louis van Gaal’s men wrapped up their sixth successive victory in the league to keep them in third place.

The Colombia striker posted the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Amazing win today. The team did a great match especially De Gea. @manchesterunited stronger everyday.”

Goals from Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Robin van Persie handed United victory, with David De Gea pulling off a number of top saves for the Red Devils.

Striker Van Persie also took to social media after the game, posting the photo below on Instagram and writing: “Amazing day at The Theatre Of Dreams!”

United’s next Premier League game is a trip to Aston Villa on Saturday.
