Radamel Falcao has urged Manchester United to stay strong after their great 2-1 win against Stoke City.

The Colombia international didn’t start against the Potters as manager Louis van Gaal partnered Robin van Persie with James Wilson.

But Steven N’Zonzi cancelled out Marouane Fellaini’s first-half opener before Juan Mata netted a 59th-minute winner at Old Trafford.

Falcao, who has been nursing an injury in recent weeks, replaced Wilson in the second half as the Red Devils saw out three points.

And the 28-year-old was quick to praise the 20-time English champions’s performance, urging the Red Devils to maintain their levels.

“Important win for the team, let’s keep strong #manutd” Falcao wrote on Instagram.

Falcao joined United on a season-long loan from Monaco in the summer transfer window.
