Raheem Sterling has hailed a step in the right direction for Liverpool after a 3-1 win at Leicester City.

The Reds, who won their first game in four attempts last Saturday, made a disappointing start when Simon Mignolet scored an own goal at the King Power Stadium.

However, Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana levelled before half-time and Steven Gerrard put the Reds ahead with his third goal of the season from close range.

And England international Jordan Henderson sealed three points with a strike seven minutes from time to notch up back-to-back wins for the first time since mid-October.

And Liverpool forward Sterling, who turns 20 next week, was thrilled with their 3-1 win, taking to Instagram to hail his team-mates.

Another step in right direction..and a great 3 points!!
