Photos: Fabregas and Schurrle delight in Chelsea’s win over Sporting

Cesc Fabregas and Andre Schurrle have taken to social media to express their delight at helping Chelsea beat Sporting Lisbon 3-1 on Wednesday night.

Both Fabregas and Shurrle scored as the Blues returned to winning ways at Stamford Bridge after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Newcastle United in the Premier League.

Fabregas posted the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Good way to bounce back.”

Schurrle, who played 74 minutes of the Champions League match, shared the photo below and wrote: “Good win tonight:)) #cfc #happy”

Chelsea will face either Juventus, Basel, PSG, Bayer Leverkusen or Shakhtar Donetsk in the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition.

The Champions League last 16 draw will be made in Nyon on Monday 15 December at 11:00 GMT.
