Radamel Falcao will come good when he’s fit, says Man United legend
Denis Law backs Radamel Falcao to be a Manchester United hit
Denis Law has backed Radamel Falcao to “come good” once the Manchester United striker is fully fit.
The Colombia international has contended with calf and knee injuries since completing a season-long loan move to the Red Devils from Monaco in the summer.
The 28-year-old United striker has scored one goal in seven Premier League appearances, although the South American has only started three games.
And Red Devils legend is under no illusion that Falcao will prove a big hit at the 20-time English champions when the striker is restored to full fitness.
“Falcao looks well and is a very good player,” Law told United’s website.
“There is no doubt about that and once he gets fully fit and feels right, he will come good. Good players will always play well, no matter which team they go to. It’s just a matter of slotting in.”
Law added: “I think it can be difficult for overseas players to adapt. Not as difficult probably as it was in our day because the world has shrunk. We had a telephone and that was basically it.”
Falcao scored 93 goals in 119 league appearances for Porto and Atletico Madrid.
