Harry Kane say Tottenham Hotspur can’t afford to dwell on their disappointing performance at Chelsea.

The north London side saw their two-game winning run in the Premier League come to an abrupt end as the leaders were emphatic 3-0 winners at Stamford Bridge midweek.

However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have the chance to make immediate amends against strugglers Palace at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

And Kane, who has scored nine goals in 17 appearances in all competitions this season, urged Spurs to recreate their winning performance against Everton for the visit of Neil Warnock’s men.

“We’re looking forward to playing in front of our fans again and getting that atmosphere going again,” said Kane.

“Everton was the benchmark of how we have to play this season and hopefully we’ll go beyond that against Palace and keep improving.

“We were all disappointed at Chelsea but we can’t dwell on that because there are important games coming up, starting against Palace.”
