Tottenham transfers: Pochettino discusses January plans

The Spurs boss hints that he won't bolster his Tottenham squad next month

Mauricio Pochettino has hinted that Tottenham Hotspur may not sign any players during the January transfer window.

Spurs find themselves seventh in the Premier League table after a mixed start to Pochettino’s reign as manager.

And Pochettino has revealed that he has held talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to discuss the club’s transfer strategy in the coming weeks.

“We have a lot of chats and have I told him all my thoughts,” said Pochettino.

“We have common sense, when the window opens in January we will start to decide but so far we are very happy with our squad.

“I am happy, it’s not about if you sign or not. I’m happy here and I’m happy with our squad. I never put pressure [on the chairman].”
