Jose Enrique can expect a call from Santa Claus this Christmas if the Liverpool defender remains out-of-favour under Brendan Rodgers.

The Spanish left-back has endured an injury-hit campaign so far, whilst he disappointed in a 1-1 draw with Basel in the Champions League last week.

While Enrique may be struggling to perform at full-back for the Reds, the 28-year-old, perhaps unsurprisingly, makes a rather impressive elf.

The former Newcastle man’s girlfriend Amy Jaine uploaded the video above of Enrique and herself dressed as elves, dancing to Christmas music.

Amy wrote: “Happy Christmas to everyone! Jajajajaja from me and my amazing elf @jesanchez3”

We think Enrique can expect some stick for this in the Liverpool dressing room ahead of their Capital One Cup quarter-final against Bournemouth.
