Arsenal are set to complete a deal to sign Gabriel Paulista from Villarreal on Monday
Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Gabriel Paulista from Villarreal, the Spanish club has confirmed.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a swoop for the Brazilian defender in recent weeks as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his defensive options at Emirates Stadium.
The Spanish outfit confirmed the news on their official Twitter account on Saturday night, and also revealed that striker Joel Campbell would be heading to the club on loan.

It is understood that Arsenal have agreed to pay a buy-out clause of €20m to land the centre-half.
Another tweet followed confirming that striker Campbell would be joining Villarreal on loan:
The Spanish club then went on to release a full statement on its official website, saying that they expect the deal to be concluded on Monday.
Arsenal, who beat defending champions Manchester City 2-0 in the Premier League last weekend, travel to Brighton and Hove Albion in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
