Australian Open 2015: Andy Murray sets up Grigor Dimitrov showdown
Andy Murray will play Grigor Dimitrov in the last 16 of the Australian Open in Melbourne
Andy Murray insisted that he is feeling in good shape after reaching the fourth round of the Australian Open.
The Scot hit 39 winners on his way to a 6-1 6-1 7-5 victory over Portugal’s Joao Sousa to reach the last 16 at Melbourne Park.
The 27-year-old will now take on Dimitrov, who beat Murray in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon last year, after the Bulgarian overcame Marcos Baghdatis in five sets earlier on Friday.
“I think today was my longest match but I feel pretty good,” Murray said.
“Normally towards the latter stages of this event, you tend to play more matches in the evenings, but so far I played three matches pretty much in the heat of the day.
“Thankfully they’ve not been too long and it hasn’t taken too much out of me.”
