Emmanuel Frimpong is still reflecting on Santi Cazorla's performance at Manchester City
Santi Cazorla’s star performance at Manchester City on Sunday left a lasting impression on Emmanuel Frimpong after the former Arsenal star took to Instagram to praise the Spaniard.
Frimpong, who joined Russian side Ufa from Championship outfit Barnsley in September, played with Cazorla for a couple of seasons before he moved to the Tykes in 2014.
But the Ghana international continues to keep close tabs on the north London club, particularly enjoying their 2-0 victory over defending Premier League champions City.
And the 23-year-old midfielder posted a photo of a passionate-looking Cazorla as he paid his own tribute to the Spain international on Monday afternoon.
Frimpong wrote: “@s19cazorla Absolute Baller Don’t piss me Off”
Cazorla proved instrumental in Arsenal’s first victory at The Etihad in three attempts, helping the Gunners move to within a point of fourth-placed Manchester United.
The Euro 2012 winner broke the deadlock with an emphatic penalty in the 24th minute before Olivier Giroud nodded the playmaker’s free-kick past City shot stopper Joe Hart.
