Jose Enrique heaps praise on Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge
Jose Enrique reserved special praise for Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge after Liverpool’s 2-0 win against West Ham United at Anfield.
The Liverpool striker stole the headlines with his 80th-minute strike as he marked his return from a five-month injury lay-off with a goal on Saturday.
But the Reds’ man-of-the-match was Philippe Coutinho after the Brazilian created Raheem Sterling’s opener six minutes after half-time before he teed up Sturridge.
Reds left-back Enrique dedicated his first Instagram post to Liverpool’s prolific striker, who completed 23 minutes on his return from a thigh injury.
Enrique posted the above photo and wrote on Instagram: “Great win today by the team. Nice to see @31sterling and @dstudge score. With this team we going to get in there for sure. Nice to see you back too my friend @dstudge”
However, the 29-year-old decided to send some love Coutinho’s way after the South American made his third and fourth Premier League goals of the season.
Enrique added: “And of course congratulations to the magician for his amazing assist and Man of the match. Muy bien feo :) @phil.coutinho”
