Daley Blind saluted Ajax’s “great fans” after paying a visit to his former club on Sunday.

The Manchester United man travelled to the Netherlands to see Ajax play out a goalless draw with Feyenoord at the weekend.

Blind was pictured in the stands as he enjoyed some downtime with a trip away from England.

And the Netherlands international took to social media on Monday evening to pay tribute to his former club.

Blind posted the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Had a great day yesterday in Amsterdam. Too bad the game ended in 0-0, but ‘Don’t worry about a thing, ’cause every little thing, is gonna be alright! Thanks again Ajax and all great fans! #AFCA”

Blind has scored one goal in 10 Premier League games for United since joining the Premier League club from Ajax last summer.

He played 86 minutes as United were held to a disappointing goalless draw with Cambridge United in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Friday night.

Blind scored his only goal for United in the 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion back in October.

United’s next game is a home clash with Leicester City this weekend.
