Tottenham transfers: Mauricio Pochettino coy on Andre Schurrle link
Mauricio Pochettino refuses to be drawn on reports of a swoop for Andre Schurrle
Mauricio Pochettino has remained tight-lipped on speculation linking Chelsea midfielder Andre Schurrle with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
The Germany international is expected to leave Stamford Bridge before 2 February as the Blues midfielder continues to be out-of-favour under manager Jose Mourinho.

Schurrle, who was part of Germany’s World Cup-winning squad last summer, has been linked with a return to the Bundesliga, with Wolfsburg believed to be interested.
Spurs have been touted as another destination, but Tottenham manager Pochettino refused to comment on the transfer gossip, instead turning his attentions to their League Cup semi-final second leg.
“We have a lot of players linked with us and we are now focused on the game and after that we will have time to speak about different movements,” Pochettino told his pre-match media conference on Tuesday.
Pochettino did, however, fuel talk of versatile midfielder Etienne Capoue leaving the north London side in January.
The France international has struggled to secure a regular starting spot in the Tottenham first-team this season.
“There are a lot of rumours in this period but we are focused on the semi-final. We have one week left until the transfer window closes,” Pochettino added.
“Maybe something happens but the most important game so far for us is the game on Wednesday.
“Every situation is different in this window. I am happy with all [the players] but we have to analyse every situation and see what happens.”
Campoue, who has made 12 Premier League appearances, has been linked with a move to David Moyes’ Real Socieded.
