Watch Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere attempt Daniel Sturridge’s dance

Jack Wilshere is giving Daniel Sturridge a run for his money

Jack Wilshere looks to be in good spirits as he continues on the road to recovery.

The Arsenal man was videoed by team-mate Wojciech Szczesny attempting to replicate Daniel Sturridge’s infamous celebratory dance.

The 23-year-old was told to “dance” in the video and quickly obliges by replicating his England team-mate’s celebration.

Sturridge clearly approved of the attempt, as he took to his own Instagram account to salute Wilshere and challenge his followers to give it a go.

The Liverpool striker shared the video above on his Instagram account and wrote: “@jackwilshere that’s my dawg #thesturridge #thestudgie he’s doing it big btw.. Who can do it better than him?? Tag me into it!!”

Wilshere is closing in on a return to action after undergoing ankle surgery back in December.

The 23-year-old warmed up with Arsene Wenger’s first-team in training last week as he looks to regain his fitness.

Before his injury setback, Wilshere had scored one goal and made one assist in nine Premier League games for the north London club.

Arsenal travel to Brighton and Hove Albion in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
