Juan Mata has taken to social media to reflect on his first year as a Manchester United player.

The Spanish playmaker signed for the Red Devils on 25 January 2014 after being deemed surplus to requirements by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Mata used his Instagram account to post a video montage of some of his top moments from the last 12 months on Sunday afternoon.

He shared the video above and wrote: “One year as @manchesterunited player! These are some of my favorite moments… What about yours? #OneRedYear.”

Mata has been in decent form for Louis van Gaal’s side so far this season, scoring five goals and making three assists in 19 Premier League games for the Red Devils.

He was rested as United were held to a goalless draw by Cambridge United in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Friday night.

United’s next game is a home clash against Leicester City at Old Trafford next weekend, where the Red Devils will look for revenge after their shock 5-3 defeat earlier in the season.
