Gerrard and Enrique salute Liverpool’s FA Cup win on Instagram

Steven Gerrard and Jose Enrique post photos on Instagram after Liverpool's FA Cup win over Crystal Palace

Steven Gerrard and Jose Enrique took to social media to praise Liverpool’s performance after watching the Reds come from a goal down to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 in the FA Cup.

The Reds fell behind in the fifth-round tie at Selhurst Park when Fraizer Campbell tapped home from close range in the 15th minute.

However, Daniel Sturridge hauled Liverpool level with a neat volley four minutes after half-time.

And Adam Lallana scored the winner with a close-range finish after Mario Balotelli’s low free-kick was parried, as the Reds booked their place in the sixth round of the prestigious cup competition.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard posted the picture above on his Instagram account soon after the final whistle and wrote: “Last 8. Great win. look forward to the draw for the next round #YNWA.”

Meanwhile, Reds defender Jose Enrique shared the photo below of him watching the game on TV on his account and added: “Great game by the team. Playing really good at the moment and the most important thing winning the games.”

Liverpool’s next game is a trip to Southampton in the Premier League next weekend.
