Harry Kane doesn’t have any weaknesses, says ex-Tottenham star
Danny Murphy heaps praise on Tottenham striker Harry Kane
Danny Murphy says he can’t see any weaknesses in Harry Kane’s game after the striker fired Tottenham Hotspur to a 2-1 win against Arsenal in the north London derby.
The 21-year-old striker cancelled out Gunners midfielder Mesut Ozil’s first-half opener with a close-range finish in the 56th minute at White Hart Lane.
Kane, who signed a new five-and-a-half year deal with Tottenham last Monday, added his second and sealed three points with a brilliant header with four minutes remaining.
Former Spurs midfielder Murphy wants England manager Roy Hodgson to construct his Three Lions side around the Tottenham talisman.
“Not just selected, but build the team around him,” Murphy told BBC Sport.
“He’s so young, but he’s so powerful. I’m struggling to see a weakness in the lad’s game.”
However, Kane scored his 11th Premier League goal of the season courtesy of a close-range finish before he netted the winner four minutes from time.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham side hoisted themselves above Arsenal and into fifth place, level on points with Manchester United.
Spurs make the trip to top-four rivals Liverpool in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
