Liverpool legend hails Chelsea’s ‘world-class’ Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic
Michael Owen says Chelsea were very average against Everton
Michael Owen says Chelsea have edged one step closer to the Premier League title thanks to “world-class” Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic.
The Blues were unconvincing 1-0 winners against Everton on Wednesday night after Willian scored an 89th-minute strike at Stamford Bridge.
However, Chelsea forward Hazard and Serbia international Matic were crucial as the west London side limped past the Toffees.

Owen wrote on Sportlobster: “Heartbreak for Everton last night. Chelsea played average but it’s another step towards the title. Matic and Hazard are World Class.”
Chelsea face Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash next week after a weekend free following a premature FA Cup exit.
