The attacking midfielder has long been linked with a move to England, with Arsenal having previously been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old.
Gourcuff has scored three goals and made two assists in 14 Ligue 1 appearances for the French side so far this term.
And Liverpool are understood to be keeping tabs on the midfielder’s situation at the Ligue 1 outfit.
Gourcuff’s agent, Didier Poulmaire, revealed that Manchester City have previously expressed an interest in his client, before confirming that both Liverpool and Atletico Madrid made enquiries during the January transfer window.
Speaking to SportMediaset, Poulmaire said: “In every transfer window, some foreign clubs knock on the door asking about Yoann.
“In the past it was Manchester City, while this year it was Liverpool and Atletico Madrid’s turn.
“The top clubs are following him, they know his talent and I’m sure that there will be offers for him in the next transfer window.”
Liverpool are gearing up for the return leg of their Europa League last-32 clash with Besiktas on Thursday night. Brendan Rodgers’ Reds head to Istanbul having won the first leg 1-0 at Anfield last week.
